Morris Cookies wins Made in Hong Kong Awards for Food
The company’s low-temperature baking method prevents harmful chemicals like Acrylamide from rising.
Using its proprietary and chemical-free baking method, Morris Salad Cookies allows one to customise delicious and healthy treats from a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs to arrive at a variety of flavourful combinations.
Over a thousand hours went into the R&D process as the low temperature baking method had to be honed to engineer the perfect treat from taste, to packaging to delivery. Morris Salad Cookies are SGS certified which means that the product contains no preservatives and unnatural food colorings. They are also the first and only Acrylamide-free cookies available in the world after its raw materials were vigorously tested and passed against 457 pesticide types in Taiwan. For this strict dedication to quality, Morris won Hong Kong Business Made in Hong Kong Awards for Food.
The company also prides themselves on using only organic ingredients and products such as England Shipton Mill Organic Flour, New Zealand Butter, Organic Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers, Herbs & Plants from all over the world and Fair Trade Organic Cane Sugar for its wide array of sweet treats, specialty cakes, desserts and Acrylamide-free cokies.
Salad Cookies are also egg-free and gluten-free, making them the ideal dessert for anyone with
allergies or gluten-intolerance. The company also received the 2018 Belgium Superior Taste 2Star Award where the product scored 93.8 in the taste section.
“Perfect for birthday parties, Christmas gifts and for anyone who adores guilt-free sweet treats, Salad Cookies are the perfect present for every occasion and available online, making them both fun and easy to purchase,” the company said in a statement.
In addition to engineering chemical-free and nutritious treats, giving back to the community is also a big part of the company’s vision. The company allocates 15% of their sales to the HUB and the Hong Chi Association in Hong Kong with plans to forge similar charitable partnerships in each country where their products are manufactured and sold.
“The company’s commitment to just more than organic, sustainable and socially responsible practices has made this food purveyor among the best in the industry,” Morris added.
Morris Salad Cookies are set to be officially launched in Hong Kong, China, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore.
