Passenger fuel overcharge to be slashed to $243
Pop the champagne for an eased burden.
According to a release, passenger fuel surcharges will be reduced in December, the Civil Aviation Department said today.
The maximum fuel surcharges will be $243 for short-haul flights and $1,081 for long-haul flights. The applicable surcharge levels are based on the ticket-issue date.
The maximum surcharges were $246 for short-haul flights and $1,093 for long-haul flights in November.
