HKIA voted world's 4th best airport

Regal Airport Hotel named Asia’s best airport hotel.

Regal Airport Hotel and HKIA were honored with the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2013. It is the third consecutive win for Regal Airport Hotel, which is located at HKIA

Skytrax said Regal secured the top spot because of its proximity and convenience to HKIA. The 1,200-room hotel is directly connected to HKIA’s passenger terminal through an enclosed bridge.

This eliminates booking problems for travelers. Regal has six restaurants and bars, both indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and an in-house conference and meeting facilities.

Runners up to Regal were Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport; Oryx Rotana, Doha; Kempinski Hotel, Munich and Crowne Plaza, Changi Airport

Passengers of 108 different nationalities traveling in and out 395 airports worldwide participated in filling out 12.1 million questionnaires during a nine-month survey period in 2012 and 2013.

Skytrax is a United Kingdom-based aviation research organization that has one of the world’s largest airline and airport review and ranking sites.

Regal Airport Hotel is part of the Hotel Regal Hotels International, the largest hotel group in Hong Kong.
