JD Logistics expands operations with new centre in Chai Wan

This is the group’s fifth centre in Hong Kong.

JD Logistics opened a new centre in Chai Wan, spanning over 10,000 square feet, to further expand its operations in Hong Kong.

“The centre is equipped with advanced logistics technologies and automation equipment to ensure rapid delivery and precise management of goods," Lin Ruibin, director of public affairs at JD Logistics, said.

He added that last year, daily package deliveries increased 24-fold in Hong Kong and 14-fold in Macao, whilst the volume of cross-border packages between Mainland China and Hong Kong grew by 16 times.

This resulted in double-digit growth overall in the company’s express delivery volume.

Since its expansion, the group opened centres in Kwun Tong, Kwai Tsing, Sha Tin, and Yuen Long.
