Fast Charger Incentive Scheme to be launched on 25 July

Around 3,000 fast chargers are expected to be in service before the end of 2028.

The Fast Charger Incentive Scheme for electric vehicles will be launched on 25 July and start accepting applications at 3 p.m., said the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB).

The EEB will announce details of the Scheme at 10 a.m. same day and conduct a trade briefing to introduce the Scheme's details and requirements.

The scheme targeted of providing 3,000 fast chargers to support 160,000 electric vehicles, all fast chargers are expected to put into service starting before the end of 2028.

Interested stakeholders in attending the briefing should complete the registration on or before 23 July through the featured website or the hotline 2824 0022.
