CLPe Solutions snags $22m EV charging tender

The utility-backed firm secured a 12-year land grant for Tai Po EV charging station.

The Hong Kong Lands Department announced that it has awarded the tender for Tai Po Town Lot No. 264 to CLPe Solutions Limited. The site is designated for an electric vehicle (EV) charging station.

CLPe Solutions secured the 12-year land grant with the highest bid, a premium of $22m. The award contributes to the government's push to expand the territory's EV charging infrastructure.

The two other tenderers vying for the site were PetroChina International Corporation Limited and Sinopec Petrol Filling Station Company Limited.
