Apple Storage expands with 17,000-sq-ft concept branch in Hong Kong
It combines specialised storage, smart systems, and customer amenities.
Apple Storage has opened a 17,000-square-foot flagship concept store in Tsuen Wan, which the company said is Hong Kong’s first IP-themed self-storage facility.
Located at Lap Tai Industrial Centre, the branch includes storage units for clothing, collectibles, books, and bicycles, alongside customer facilities such as a co-working space, massage chairs, gaming equipment, and beverage stations.
The company said the site is equipped with climate and humidity controls, CCTV, smart access systems, and 24-hour support. Additional amenities include packing areas, trolleys, and bicycle repair tools.
The company added that it continues to work with the Buildings Department and Fire Services Department on compliance and fire safety requirements.
As part of its technology upgrades, Apple Storage said it has rolled out facial recognition systems and smart sensor lighting across its branches.
It also developed an AI-based customer matching system designed to recommend storage solutions to clients and is developing an “AI Smart Warehouse” project focused on warehouse management and customer interaction.
On sustainability initiatives, Apple Storage is implementing sensor-based energy-saving systems and increasing the use of Grade 1 energy-labelled appliances.
Apple Storage added that it aims to reduce carbon emissions by 10% within three years and expand its community support initiatives, including free storage and moving services for selected projects.
