BlackBerry PlayBook to be available in Hong Kong in July

Research In Motion (RIM) on Thursday announced plans to launch its much-anticipated BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet in Hong Kong. The BlackBerry PlayBook is scheduled to be released in early July through authorized carrier partners and retail channels in Hong Kong.

Ideal for both businesses and individuals, the BlackBerry PlayBook features an ultra-portable design and delivers industry leading performance, uncompromised web browsing, true multitasking, HD multimedia, advanced security features, out-of-the-box enterprise support and a robust development environment.

With support for Adobe® Flash®, Adobe® Mobile AIR® and HTML-5, the BlackBerry PlayBook provides customers with an uncompromised, high-fidelity web experience and offers them the ability to enjoy all of the sites, games and media on the web.

The BlackBerry PlayBook supports high-quality multimedia features. It includes dual HD cameras for picture and video capture and video chatting. The BlackBerry PlayBook offers a vivid display that presents crystal clear pictures and movies. With its rich stereo sound and a powerful media player, the BlackBerry PlayBook rivals the best in the industry. The BlackBerry PlayBook can also be connected to external displays via HDMI allowing presentation, viewing of documents and files and sharing photos and videos on larger screens, making the BlackBerry PlayBook a prefect tool to show one’s creations for work and fun.
