Dairy Farm launches two concept stores in Hong Kong

This includes a new 7-Eleven concept shop and a revamped Market Place.

Dairy Farm has launched two new concept stores in Hong Kong, according to a report from IDG. This includes a new 7-Eleven convenience store concept, partnering with Carlsberg and the Market Place at Hong Kong’s Langham Place shopping centre, Mong Kok, Kowloon.

The 7-Eleven concept shop is located in Discovery Bay. It allows customers to purchase different Carlsberg brews, such as Elephant Strong, Carlsberg Export, and Unfiltered.

Meanwhile, Market Place has been revamped to feature elements similar to the retailer’s CS Fresh and Mercato stores in Singapore and Penang, Malaysia, respectively.

The store features fresh foods, made-to-order meals, and baked breads with the food-to-go area surrounding an open kitchen. The design uses open spaces, allowing shoppers to easily navigate inside the store. These were part of the retailer’s efforts to reinvent its larger format stores.
