Property sales jump 12.3% MoM in April
Residential units made up 7,368 agreements, up 16.7%.
The Land Registry recorded 8,692 sales and purchase agreements for all building units in April, up 12.3% from March and 20.2% higher year-on-year (YoY).
The total value of those transactions rose 17% month-on-month to $72.9b, marking a 45.5% YoY increase.
Residential units accounted for 7,368 of the agreements, an increase of 16.7% from March and 29.4% YoY.
The total value of residential transactions reached $63.7b, up 15.4% from the previous month and 50.9% higher YoY.
The number of land register searches totalled 419,404 in April.
