Gov’t awards second operation and management contract for two LPH projects

The projects will collectively provide a total of 2,438 LPH units.

The Housing Bureau has awarded the second operation and management contract for the Light Public Housing (LPH) projects to the Easy Living Consultant Limited and Yan Chai Hospital Joint Venture, with a tender sum of approximately $168m.

The contract covers two LPH projects at Choi Hing Road and Choi Shek Lane in Ngau Tau Kok which will provide 2,290 and 148 LPH units respectively with intakes expected in Q2 2025 and Q1 2026.

The operating organisation will conduct pre-management work and provide services and ancillary facilities for residents and the local community upon intake, under the bureau’s supervision.

The bureau stated that assigning one organisation to manage two LPH projects could improve resource flexibility and utilisation, thereby enhancing efficiency and expanding the scope of services.
