Hong Kong developers sold 236 units over the weekend

Cumulative sales have hit $3.7b.

According to Barclays, over the weekend, a total of 236 primary units were sold by developers. Henderson Land and NWD’s Double Cove Starview in Ma On Shan was the major contributor to the primary sales with 202 units sold.

So far, HLD/NWD have released 551 units in three batches (64% of total 865 units) and managed to clear every batch immediately after the launch.

Here's more from Barclays:

To date, the cumulative sales proceeds have reached HK$3.7bn. With strong sales momentum, Henderson Land and NWD have released another batch of 272 units with average price of HK$14,083psf to be sold this coming Thursday, 23 January 2014.

While Double Cove Starview enjoyed strong take-up, other re-launches received cool response.

Only seven units were sold at Chatham Gate in Hung Hom (developed by a consortium led by Shun Tak, SHKP and NWD) and only four units were sold at Swire Properties Dunbar Place in Homantin.

Other notable sales included five units sold at SHKP’s Century Gateway II in Tuen Mun and four units at Cheung Kong’s Diva in North Point.
