832 surplus HOS flats to go on sale

According to a release, the Housing Authority's Subsidised Housing Committee approved the sales arrangement for the remaining 832 surplus Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) flats under Phase 7.

The flats include 825 in Tin Chung Court, Tin Siu Wai, and seven others in five HOS buildings.

The prices range from the lowest at $1,194,500 in Tin Chung Court, to the highest at $3,495,600 in Broadview Court, Southern District.

The committee also approved the income and asset limits for white-form applicants for the sale of surplus HOS flats under Phase 7 of the scheme.

The income limit for family applicants will be $40,000 per month and the asset limit will be $830,000. The income and asset limits for one-person applicants will be set at half of the limits for family applicants - $20,000 and $415,000.

Applications for the purchase of surplus HOS flats under Phase 7 will be invited at the end of March, and balloting is expected in mid-May. Selection of flats by successful applicants will start in June.
