EC Harris appoints Stephen Hilton as Head of Critical Systems in Asia
Mr. Hilton is already experienced in managing operational teams and technical facilities throughout the region.
EC Harris, the global Built Asset Consultancy, has appointed Stephen Hilton as its new Head of Critical Systems in Asia.
Stephen will be based in Hong Kong and is responsible for leading EC Harris’s work with clients to finance, plan and optimise the construction, operation and ownership of their data centers and other critical systems in order to improve business performance.
Stephen has over 14 years experience managing operational teams and technical facilities throughout the Asia Pacific region. He has previously worked as an operations director for RED Technologies, 3D Networks, Telstra and MK International. During this time he has set up and managed a number of major infrastructure projects encompassing both state of the art technical facilities and fibre optic networks. Prior to this he worked as a telecommunications engineer in the British Army for over 20 years, according to an EC Harris report.
Alan Brookes, Regional Leader for Asia at EC Harris said: “Stephen brings a wealth of experience from an operational perspective which will be invaluable to our clients through his understanding of both the business requirement and the technical solution. He is a valued addition to our team in Asia.”
Stephen Hilton commented: “The demand for locating critical systems operations in Asia is increasing, yet the challenges remain of providing certainty around the financing, construction and running of the operations. EC Harris has a strong track record working with many of the leading companies in this sector in Asia and around the world, which sets us in good stead to build on this platform and grow our business further.”
