
Mayer Brown JSM promotes four lawyers to consultants in Hong Kong
The appointments are effective as of 1 January this year.

The new consultants in Hong Kong are:
Judith Eeles, Intellectual Property
Judith’s practice focuses on a full range of local and overseas trademark matters including trademark clearances, due diligence, portfolio management, trademark prosecution and opposition, revocation and invalidation actions. She holds law degrees from Monash University in Australia and has been admitted to practice in Australia, the UK and Hong Kong. Judith joined Mayer Brown JSM in March 1997.
Linda Iu, Tax & Trusts
Linda focuses her practice on estate and succession planning for high net worth clients and families, offshore and onshore trust creation, establishment of charitable trusts and will drafting. She advises trust corporations, individual clients and their family offices on all matters related to trusts. Her clients include prominent and high profile entrepreneurs and families in Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong. Linda joined Mayer Brown JSM in January 1997.
Mabel Leung, Real Estate
Mabel advises on all matters of general commercial law and has been focusing on the commercial aspects of real estate related projects in recent years. She is experienced in joint venture transactions including negotiating sale and purchase agreements and shareholders agreements. She also has experience in hotel management transactions. She joined Mayer Brown JSM in 2002 and is a graduate of King's College, London.
David McKellar, Claims Counsel
David serves as Mayer Brown JSM's Claims Counsel in Asia and advises on professional indemnity, compliance and risk management matters within the firm. He joined Mayer Brown JSM in 2002 and holds a law degree from the University of London.
