Gov’t appoints Sophia Chong as HKTDC executive director

On the same day, Jenny Koo took over as Deputy Executive Director.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has appointed Sophia Chong as its Executive Director, effective on 1 October.

On the same day, Jenny Koo took over as Deputy Executive Director, overseeing international exhibitions and related services and digital business.

Before her promotion, Koo served as Assistant Executive Director. In 2020, as she transitioned physical exhibitions to virtual platforms and in 2021, she took on the role of Director of Digital Business.
