Gov't appoints new SFC advisers, renews 7 terms

New term runs from June 2025 to May 2027.

The government has appointed five new members and reappointed seven to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Advisory Committee for a two-year term from 1 June 2025, to 31 May 2027.

The new appointees are Vincent Chui Yik-chiu, Lam Chi-ki, Elisa Ng Ka-li, Katherine Ng Kit-shuen, and Xu Tao.

The reappointed members include Professor Cai Hongbin, Jia Hongrui, Li Tong, Phillip Meyer, Fion Ng Siu-mui, Tse Yung-hoi, and Harold Wong Tsu-hing.

The government said members bring strong market knowledge and will provide independent advice on SFC policy and regulation.
