AIA adopts AI platform for financial crime compliance

Singapore-based regTech firm Silent Eight will provide the platform.

AIA partnered with Singapore-based regTech firm Silent Eight to enhance its financial crime compliance screening processes across multiple jurisdictions.

As part of the partnership, Silent Eight will provide AIA with its artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Iris.

Silent Eight leverages AI to develop crime-reducing compliance platforms for the world's leading financial institutions in over 150 markets. 

"Integrating Silent Eight's capabilities will enable us to streamline our financial crime compliance screening processes. This reflects our steadfast commitment to safeguarding our customers and protecting our business integrity,” Hritesh Mehta, head of Group Compliance at AIA,  said.
