SetupHK launches $1 Company Setup Programme to attract startups

The programme offers licenses and permits assistance, amongst others.

SetupHK introduced its $1 Company Setup Programme to reduce entry barriers for new businesses and catalyse growth in Hong Kong’s dynamic market.

The programme also aims to draw more entrepreneurs to establish businesses in Hong Kong by minimising the initial financial burden on businesses.

Services offered by SetupHK include precision in company name and category selection, effortless document preparation and submission, seamless acquisition of registration certificates, tailored assistance for additional licenses and permits, and strategic company bank account opening.

"We believe that by reducing the financial barriers to entry, we can stimulate a wave of innovation and entrepreneurship that will drive economic growth and resilience. Our goal is to empower every aspiring entrepreneur in Hong Kong, giving them the tools to succeed without the burden of excessive startup costs,” Marx Chan, Director at SetupHK, said.
