Threadneedle appoints Albert Lee as Senior Advisor

Albert Lee will be based in Threadneedle's Hong Kong office.

According to Threadneedle, Mr Lee will focus on developing the group’s Asian business strategy, working closely with Asia Pacific Chairman Raymundo Yu.

Threadneedle’s Asia Pacific Chairman, Mr Yu, commented: “Albert brings substantial business and country strategy expertise gained through a range of senior roles in Asia. His experience will be invaluable as we develop and implement our distribution strategy across channels and individual countries”.

Mr Lee was Managing Director, Country CEO and Chairman at Merrill Lynch Securities in Taiwan from July 2007 to July 2009, and prior to that was Managing Director and Regional Business Head for Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client business for Asia Pacific. Mr Lee is also currently a Senior Advisor to the Wealth Management Department of Nomura International in Hong Kong.
