Over three in four HK investors seek investment advice online

Facebook (62%) is the most commonly used social media platform.

More than three in four (78%) of Hong Kong investors seek investment advice online, according to a survey by European asset management firm Amundi.

The report found that Facebook (62%) is the most commonly used social media platform.

For almost half (48%) of Hong Kong investors, retirement is a key investment motivator, and they (39%) are more likely to invest more amidst economic certainty than other Asian investors (30%).

In Mainland China, 86% of investors hold at least some of their investments on digital channels.
