Omio opens Singapore tech hub with EDBI to drive ai-first travel push

The Singapore office also serves as Omio’s Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters and Global AI Centre of Excellence.

Omio has opened a new technology hub in Singapore and formed a strategic partnership with EDBI, the investment arm of Singapore Growth Capital, to support its expansion across Southeast Asia and accelerate its push into artificial intelligence.

The hub, which began operations in July 2025, is tasked with building an AI-first travel platform aimed at transforming global mobility.

The Singapore office also serves as Omio’s Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters and Global AI Centre of Excellence, according to EDBI. The hub is led by Maneesh Mishra, Omio’s Head of AI, and is supported by a growing team of AI engineers and product specialists.
