It will cover areas including ICT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Hong Kong’s push for digital and intelligent development is set to get a boost from a new partnership between the government-funded Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) and ZTE (Hong Kong) Ltd.
Under the partnership, LSCM and ZTE Hong Kong will work to enhance e-government information services and promote the local application of diversified technologies in the city.
The two parties will cooperate in areas including ICT infrastructure, artificial intelligence, general computing, operating systems, and cybersecurity.
They will also focus on the C86 next-generation computing platform to deepen cooperation in locally developed computing infrastructure development and the digital transformation of government and enterprises.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at the LSCM Logistics Summit 2026 at Hong Kong Science Park on 15 October.
