HKB Technology Excellence Awards 2020 opens doors for nominations

Deadline of entries is on 26 June 2020, Friday.

Following the success of the inaugural awards in 2019, Hong Kong Business is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the second edition of the HKB Technology Excellence Awards.

HKB Technology Excellence Awards 2020 is on the lookout for outstanding companies that have made exceptional contributions in pursuit of technological innovation.

The awards programme will crown top-tier firms with the most innovative and unique IT initiatives and solutions, driving business growth and pushing the boundaries of technology in Hong Kong.

Last year’s event was graced by reputable enterprises such as Hang Seng Bank (E-Commerce - Banking), Hong Kong Disneyland (Mobile - Media & Entertainment), LexisNexis (Online Services - Legal), LF Logistics (E-Commerce - Logistics) and Sands China (Cloud - Hospitality Leisure).

"Recognition for an accomplishment is important for anything. However, this award is really special because it’s in an area that 10 years ago we would not have been recognised for,” said Anthony Wong, Head of Product & Content for Hong Kong and Taiwan at LexisNexis.

The LexisNexis team claimed the Technology Excellence Award under the Online Services - Legal category, joining the prestigious lineup of 24 award winners across different industries.

“It's been a journey for LexisNexis from a legal publishing house to a technology-driven, legal solution provider. This is what gives us confidence that we are heading in the right direction," he added.

Deadline for submissions is on 26 June 2020, Friday.

Nomination is free of charge, and winners will be honoured at the awarding ceremony to be held on 13 August 2020, Thursday, in Hong Kong.
