Data breaches in Hong Kong increase by 51% in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter, according to Surfshark's Global Data Breach Analytics.

Since 2004, the region has recorded a total of 22,401,827 data breaches. 

Hong Kong ranks 47th out of 250 countries in global data breach statistics.
