HD video calls now available in Hong Kong

For PCCW Global enterprise customers and carrier partners.

PCCW Global, an operating division of HKT Group Holdings, Ltd, Hong Kong’s leading telecommunications service provider, said its High Definition (HD) video calling service offers switched point-to-point video calling.

HD video calling allows enterprise customers to make seamless video calls and provides guaranteed video quality. It also enables customers to enjoy greater flexibility and productivity because there is no requirement for a conference bridge or a preset time to speak.

HD video allows carrier partners to interconnect with PCCW Global and to deliver switched video calling using existing business models developed for the voice market. PCCW Global enterprise customers may also enjoy the benefits of HD video calling service.

Jordick Wong, PCCW Global’s Senior Vice President of Product and Vendor Management, said, HD communications is enjoying tremendous growth as enterprises are looking for high-quality but cost-effective communications solutions.

PCCW Global supplies voice and data services to multinational enterprises and service providers. Its network covers over 1,800 cities and 120 countries and supports a number of integrated global communications solutions.
