Hong Kong amongst top emerging talent networks globally

It ranked 3rd in technology, manufacturing and life sciences.

Hong Kong was identified as an emerging talent network across five industries in over 30 markets, according to a report by recruitment agency Hays.

The city ranked 3rd in technology, manufacturing and life sciences, and 4th in banking, financial services, and engineering.

Hong Kong was one of only two talent networks with the most talent profiles in life sciences, the other being Singapore.

“Hong Kong’s competitive advantages with talent make it a prime choice for businesses looking for long-term growth,” Sue Wei, Managing Director at Hays Greater China, said.

“However, this comes with challenges such as investing in and developing the prerequisite skills for talent to function effectively. Leaders looking to capitalise on this market will need to consider the talent they need, where they will be getting it from, what levels of skills and experience they require for the job and how much it will cost,” she added.
