Labour chief attends APEC summit
Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung will also speak at the High-Level Policy Dialogue chaired by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
A report by the Information Services Department said Mr Cheung is attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Women & the Economy Summit in San Francisco on September 15 and 16.
“He will attend a reception in which Hong Kong Executive Councillor Marjorie Yang and University of Science & Technology Dean of Science Prof Nancy Ip will be honoured among 42 leading women innovators,” said the report.
The summit will focus on improving access to capital, access to markets, capacity and skills building, and women's leadership.
