Fanling job fair to be held on 10 January

4,400 vacancies to be offered.

According to a release, the Labour Department will co-host a job fair at Wo Hing Sports Centre in Fanling on January 10, offering about 4,400 vacancies.

The recruiters will mainly be in the retail, catering and property-management industries, and most will set up counters and conduct on-the-spot recruitment on the day.

Vacancies include network sales executive, library assistant, customer services, sales, cashier, shop assistant, cook, waiter, security, driver, and storekeeper posts.

About 73% of the vacancies are full-time jobs, and most offer monthly salaries ranging from $7,000 to $13,000.

More than 96% of the vacancies require no education higher than secondary six, and 73% are open to job seekers with no experience.

The fair will open from 11am to 5.30pm.
