Mainland visitors accounted for a significant share of total arrivals.

Mainland visitors totalled 3.1 million, reflecting a 19% YoY rise.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) attributed the increase to the Labour Day Golden Week holidays and city events.
