Peter Lam appointed Hong Kong Tourism Board chairman

His term runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028.

The government has appointed Peter Lam as the new chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), replacing Pang Yiu-kai. His term runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028.

Additionally, three new members—Jeffrey Lam, Nikki Ng, and Melissa Pang—have been appointed to the board. Their terms will commence on 1 April 2025 and conclude on 31 March 2027.

Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Secretary Rosanna Law highlighted Lam’s previous tenure as HKTB chairman (2013–2019) and his extensive experience in business and public service.

“With his diverse experience in business management and public service, coupled with a strong vision, Mr. Lam is the ideal candidate to steer the HKTB and elevate Hong Kong’s tourism sector to new heights,” she said.
