Hong Kong welcomed 1.4 million visitors during the Chinese New Year Golden Week from January 28 to February 4, with Mainland visitors making up 1.2 million.

The Immigration Department reported around 150,000 Mainland visitors daily, peaking at 190,000 on 30 January. The Express Rail Link West Kowloon Control Point and the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point saw the highest traffic.

Popular tourist attractions, including the West Kowloon Cultural District, Ocean Park, Hong Kong Disneyland, the Peak Tram, and Ngong Ping 360, experienced high visitor numbers. Hotel occupancy reached 90%.

Over 2,200 Mainland inbound tour groups, accounting for 7% of all Mainland visitors, also visited during this period.
