Elderly Health Care Voucher Scheme expands to GPHCM

This takes effect on 31 July.

The Elderly Health Care Voucher Greater Bay Area Pilot Scheme will be extended to Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine (GPHCM) in Guangzhou starting 31 July, the government said.

The vouchers are applicable for outpatient healthcare services provided by 10 departments at the GPHCM. Service fees at the hospital will be charged in renminbi.

The facility becomes the fourth service point in Guangzhou and the second Chinese medicine hospital participating in the scheme.

With the addition, the total number of service points in the Greater Bay Area where the vouchers can be used will increase to 16.
