
18 strategic firms to establish HQs in Hong Kong
These firms span sectors such as advanced manufacturing and new energy technology.
A new group of 18 strategic enterprises is set to establish global or regional headquarters, or research and development centres in Hong Kong.
The participating companies span sectors such as advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence, data science, fintech, and life and health technology.
The announcement was made during a ceremony hosted by the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, with Financial Secretary Paul Chan in attendance.
Chan noted the significance of these firms' investments, job creation, and technological expertise in supporting Hong Kong’s broader innovation and technology development agenda.
Their presence supports Hong Kong’s vision of becoming an international innovation and technology centre, he said.
