
Restaurants receipts surged 5.8% in Q1 2011
The total value of total restaurants sector receipts was $22.1 billion, said the Census & Statistics Department.
According to their report in the Hong Kong Information Services Department, the value of restaurants' total purchases grew to $8.1 billion.
After discounting the effect of price changes, total restaurant receipts rose 1.7% in volume.
On a seasonally adjusted quarter-to-quarter comparison, the volume of total restaurant receipts fell 0.3% compared to the fourth quarter last year.
