11 individuals from two tourist groups reported feeling unwell after eating at two restaurants in Kowloon City.

The individuals sought medical attention at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The Travel Commission instructed the Travel Industry Authority (TIA) to investigate and cooperate with the Centre for Food Safety. It also directed the TIA to contact the travel agent of the two groups. 

68 other travel agents confirmed that all other members of the two groups and other groups did not exhibit similar symptoms upon eating at the restaurants.
