Revo Digital Family Office bags SFC licence to launch securities advisory services
SFC licenses allow the company to advise on digital portfolios.
Revo Digital Family Office Limited (Revo DFOL) obtained Type 4 and Type 9 licences from the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), allowing the firm to provide securities advice and manage digital investments alongside traditional assets.
Clients can integrate digital assets into portfolios through discretionary mandates, whilst maintaining ownership via platforms or custodians, the company said.
William Chow, Responsible Officer of Revo DFOL, said the firm’s digital asset strategy centres on stewardship and client interests.
Ray Tam, Co-Founder of Revo Group, noted the licences expand the external asset manager model to include digital assets for individuals and families.
Chi Man Kwan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Raffles Family Office, said the approval demonstrates that digital assets can operate within wealth management frameworks, adding that the licences require coordination between banks, custodians, and virtual asset trading platforms.
