Sun Life appoints Clement Lam as CEO of Sun Life Hong Kong

Sun Life has also appointed Karim Gilani as president of International Hubs.

Sun Life has appointed Clement Lam as the new CEO of its Hong Kong operations.

Lam is currently general manager for Life & Health of Sun Life Hong Kong. His appointment will be subjected to regulatory approval.

Clement will be directly reporting to Sun Life’s International Hubs president Karim Gilani.

International Hubs comprises Sun Life’s life, health, wealth and pensions businesses in Hong Kong, and the High Net Worth businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda.

Gilani joined Sun Life Asia as Chief Risk Officer in 2015 and went on to become Asia CFO in 2017. Prior to Sun Life, he held a variety of roles in risk, actuarial, products, reinsurance and consulting in Asia and North America. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Sun Life is an international financial services organization providing insurance, wealth and asset management solutions to individual and corporate clients.
