Starting 4 May, unregistered GREEN$ physical cards will stop earning points.

In line with this, the EPD will retain just one GREEN@COMMUNITY physical gift redemption point will be retained in each district from the same day.
Unregistered GREEN$ physical cards will also stop earning points from 4 May, whilst existing cardholders must complete real-name registration by 31 August 2027 to retain functionality.
EPD staff will provide on-site registration and demonstrations of mobile applications for the elderly and the needy at major public rental housing estates. Similar assistance will also be available at GREEN@COMMUNITY facilities.
The department noted that more than 1.2 million users have registered for the scheme, with about 90% using the mobile application.
Accumulated GREEN$ points can be used at more than 150,000 merchants across online shopping, bill payments, transportation, retail, and dining.
“Users may also choose to redeem $50 physical supermarket cash vouchers with their GREEN$ points at all GREEN@COMMUNITY facilities,” EPD said in a press release.
