ChinaAMC and PantherTrade open 24/7 trading for digital money funds
The platform includes a real-time indicative net asset value display.
ChinaAMC (Hong Kong) and virtual asset trading platform (VATP) PantherTrade have launched a 24/7 secondary trading service for digital money market funds, allowing retail investors to trade outside regular market hours.
The service covers tokenised shares of the ChinaAMC HKD Digital Money Market Fund and the ChinaAMC USD Digital Money Market Fund, both authorised by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
It includes a real-time indicative net asset value (NAV) display, price deviation alerts, and a five-minute cooling-off period as part of its volatility control measures.
Trading runs on PantherTrade, an SFC-licensed VATP wholly owned by Futu Holdings. It is subject to the platform’s operating rules.
The 24/7 availability, however, only applies to secondary trading.
Primary-market subscriptions and redemptions remain available, subject to the funds’ offering documents and same-day NAV calculation.
