Anchorpoint launches tokenised money programme with PwC Hong Kong
TAP targets real-world use cases following the launch of the HKDAP stablecoin.
Anchorpoint Financial Limited has launched the Tokenised Money Adoption Programme (TAP), with PwC Hong Kong joining as a strategic partner.
The programme will focus on education around products and services, research into technical and market standards, and the development of real-world use cases for tokenised money.
It will facilitate workshops, research projects, and industry discussions.
TAP will convene participants from financial services, payments, technology, digital assets, and the corporate sector.
Meanwhile, PwC will contribute industry expertise and research support to the programme’s education and research activities.
TAP comes following the launch of Hong Kong’s first regulated stablecoin, HKDAP, with the market now shifting to how tokenised money can be used in practice and where it can create economic value, said Anchorpoint CEO Dominic Maffei.
“There is a growing need for informed discussion and knowledge sharing across industry participants,” Maffei said.
“We hope to provide a platform for these conversations, contribute to the development of the sector, and look forward to bringing together more like-minded partners,” he added.
