Kingdee takes over Guangzhou Wisetop Computer

The acquisition will provide make Kingdee secure market leading status for integrated informatisation service in medical industry.

Kingdee International Software Group Co., Ltd. (“Kingdee”) on Monday announced that its subsidiary, Shanghai Kingdee Health Care and Medical Software Technology Co., Ltd ("Kingdee Medical"), has acquired 75% of the shares of Guangzhou Wisetop Computer Co., Ltd. ("Wisetop"), a well-known medical industry informatisation company, at the cost of about RMB120 million. Through consolidating the respective advantages in solutions, technology, products and services, brands and marketing channels, the two parties are to provide more comprehensive standardized solution service to the informatisation of medical industry in China, according to a Kingdee report.

Upon the acquisition, Kingdee will immediately consolidate Wisetop’s accumulated experiences and know-hows in the medical industry into the existing product lines and personnel to further enhance the overall capacity of Kingdee’s medical informatisation solutions. Leveraging the opportunities brought by this acquisition, Kingdee Medical will accelerate product and service innovation, expand distribution channels, improve industry professional services level, so as to provide medical industry clients with a more comprehensive integrated solution services. Kingdee Medial will hence become the business operation platform for the Group in the medical industry, securing the market leading position and setting informatisation standards to the market.
