King Stone Energy Group gets Quam Capital as independent financial adviser

Quam Capital will counsel the Independent Board Committee.

According to an HKEx release, pursuant to Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code, the Board announces that Quam Capital Limited has been appointed as the independent financial adviser to advise the Independent Board Committee and the Independent Shareholders in connection with the Subscription and the Whitewash Waiver and such appointment has been approved by the Independent Board Committee.

The Board was informed that a fellow subsidiary of the financial adviser to the Subscriber holds 23,190,000 Shares. Hence, the Subscriber and the parties acting in concert with it have interests in 23,190,000 Shares, representing approximately 1.62% of the issued share capital of the Company as at the date of the Announcement and the date hereof
