HKMA publishes tentative issuance schedule for government bonds

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has published a tentative issuance schedule for Government Bonds offered under the Institutional Bond Issuance Programme for September 2011 to February 2012.

The schedule contains information on, among others, the tentative tender dates, issue sizes and issue dates of individual GB issues.

The issuance schedule is normally issued on a half-yearly basis in January and July each year, covering the six-month periods starting in March and September respectively. It should be noted that the tenors, tender dates, issue sizes and issue dates in the issuance schedule are tentative. The HKMA may make adjustments in the light of prevailing market conditions. A revised issuance schedule may be issued where appropriate.
