Hong Kong posts $1.5bn deficit

Scheme $6,000.expenditure boosted the deficit.

Government expenditure in November amounted to $48.65 billion, with $47.18 billion in revenue recorded.

The $1.46 billion deficit brought the net surplus for the eight months ending November down to $21.2 billion.

The Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau said the month's deficit was mainly due to expenditure under Scheme $6,000.
