Hong Kong to boost green and digital cooperation with Singapore

Singapore is Hong Kong's largest trading partner in SEA.

Chief Executive (CE) John Lee visited Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, Heng Swee Keat, to discuss bilateral relations.

CE Lee stated that Singapore remains Hong Kong's largest trading partner amongst ASEAN markets, with the bilateral trade in goods totalling $394.7b in 2023.

Lee also vowed that Hong Kong will strengthen multifaceted cooperation with Singapore, focusing on the green and digital sectors and other emerging industries.

Hong Kong will play as a “super-connector” and “super value-adder” to promote economic growth for China and Singapore.
