Dickens to stay on at HKEx

Mark Dickens, Head of Listing at the Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing, will stay at his job until July 2013.

HKEx renewed his contract but said he will participate in HKEx’s search for his successor to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

HKEx Chief Executive Charles Li said he is glad Dickens agreed to renew his contract for another year, adding he has made a major contribution to the further development of HKEx. Li noted that Dickens’ knowledge and experience are valuable assets for the Listing Division.

Dickens' current contract expires later this month when he will reach HKEx's retirement age of 60.
