Cathay reopens The Wing, First at Hong Kong International Airport
The flagship first-class lounge relaunches on April 22 with a new StudioIlse look.
Cathay Pacific has unveiled its redesigned flagship first-class lounge, The Wing, First, at Hong Kong International Airport, ahead of its reopening on 22 April.
Located on the east side of Terminal 1, the lounge features updated design elements, including granite, a material commonly associated with traditional Chinese architecture.
The redesign continues the airline’s collaboration with London-based StudioIlse.
On a temporary basis, the space is available to Cathay Diamond members and above travelling on flights operated by oneworld member airlines.
It is also available to first-class passengers on Cathay Pacific-operated flights, and SCB Cathay Mastercard holders with first-class lounge passes.
Separately, Cathay Pacific said it will open its first dedicated lounge in New York later this year when it relocates to Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Meanwhile, The Wing, Business lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, will close for renovation before reopening in 2027.
