Savills announces promotions in retail and international residential sales

The promotions acknowledge the leadership and expertise of Savills in these sectors.

Savills Hong Kong has announced the promotions of Barrie Chan to senior director for retail and Mark Elliott to senior director for international residential sales.

According to Savills, the promotions acknowledge the strong leadership and expertise of the company in the respective sectors in Hong Kong.

Chan has joined Savills' retail department for 20 years, having led significant leasing exercises, amongst other projects. Under his direction, the Savills retail team expanded coverage to non-core districts.

Meanwhile, Elliott was the head of international residential in 2017, having sold, instructed, and led a selection of class leading residential development projects in other countries. The international residential sales under his direction delivered two consecutive record-breaking years and won new agency instructions for renowned developers.

“I believe their promotion will strengthen our capabilities and reinforce our strategies on business development on new growth areas," Savills Greater China CEO Raymond Lee said.
