Property sales up 0.3% in July

The total consideration for residential units was $35.7b.

The Land Registry logged 5,262 sale and purchase agreements for building units in July, up 0.3% compared with June and 18.9% higher from July 2023 sales.

The total consideration from property sales rose 3.8% to $42.7b compared to June and is higher by 29.4% year-on-year (YoY).

Of the agreements, 3,723 were for residential units, 3.4% lower than in June, but 21.5% higher from a year ago.

The total consideration for residential units was $35.7b, up 3.4% compared with June and up 34.2% YoY.

There were 396,209 land register searches in July.
